Major Arcana
The Star
The hope
Upright meaning
After the storm, calm. The card of well-founded hope, of recovery and of faith returning.
Reversed meaning
Loss of hope and discouragement, or unrealistic expectations setting you up to be let down.
What is in the picture
A woman kneels by a pool, one foot on land, one touching the water. She empties two jugs — one into the pool, one onto dry ground. Above her, one large eight-pointed star and seven smaller ones. A bird sits in the tree behind. She wears nothing: nothing left to hide, nothing left to lose. This is the relief that comes after the worst has already happened.
Love
Healing after hurt. The relationship may reopen gently.
Career
The road you are on is the right one. Stay patient a little longer.
One thing you can do
Name one small thing you can do daily this week that makes you feel better. Small enough that there is no reason to skip it.
Is The Star a yes or a no?
Yes. One of the kindest cards in the deck — hope with something under it, and time on your side.
