How you behave at work
DISC describes how you behave at work, not how good you are. Answer as you usually behave in a workplace.

What this measures
Four behavioural styles at work: D driving at results, I working through people and enthusiasm, S holding things steady, C keeping to standards and data. The result is the order those four come in for you, not a single label.
Worth saying plainly
DISC describes observable behaviour at work. It does not measure ability and does not predict job performance. It is a tool for a team to understand itself, not grounds for hiring or letting anyone go.
A tool for reflection and for having language to describe yourself — not a validated measure.

Common questions
- How is DISC different from the sixteen types?
- DISC looks at the behaviour you show at work; the sixteen types look at how you process information and decide, internally. Most people find the two complement rather than contradict each other.
- Can I score equally on two styles?
- Yes, and it is common. When the top two are within five points the page says outright that the order between them means nothing and that you should read both.
- Does my DISC result change with environment?
- Yes. Many people behave quite differently in a safe workplace and a high-pressure one. Answer with your current environment in mind.
