Major Arcana
Temperance
The blend
Upright meaning
Blending opposites skilfully. Move slowly and steadily, without going to extremes in either direction.
Reversed meaning
Imbalance, excess, or impatience wrecking something that was slowly coming right.
What is in the picture
An angel stands with one foot on land and one in the water, pouring liquid between two cups along a diagonal that no liquid should be able to travel. A triangle inside a square sits on the chest. Irises grow on the left; a path leads to a crown between two distant mountains. The whole card is about getting the proportion right, and that takes time.
Love
The two of you need to bring your rhythms into step.
Career
Good collaboration. Avoid rushed decisions or putting everything in one place.
One thing you can do
Take the thing you are doing too much of and cut it by twenty percent for two weeks. Not to zero — this card does not back extremes in either direction.
Is Temperance a yes or a no?
Yes, if you will go slowly and adjust as you go. No, if you need the answer this week.
