Minor Arcana · Wands
Six of Wands
The laurel
Upright meaning
Effort publicly acknowledged. You win, and everybody sees it.
Reversed meaning
Success going unrecognised, or arrogance after the win.
What is in the picture
A rider on a white horse wears a laurel wreath, and a second wreath is tied to his wand. A crowd walks alongside, raising their own staves. He looks straight ahead rather than down at them. The victory here is one that was publicly acknowledged — the thing the Five never got.
Love
Valued by your partner, and shown openly.
Career
Promotion, an award, or a visibly successful project.
